Curley automatically assumes that Slim and his wife are together. He didn’t have a good reason to assume this because just because Curley’s wife givees Slim the eye doesn’t mean that Slim likes her.

Curley thinks that Slim and his wife are together. He shouldn’t have assumed that because he doesn’t even know that Slim even likes her.

Curley thinks that Slim and his wife are together but he shouldn’t have assumed that because Slim hasn’t done anything to make him think that they would be together.

I think that Curley thinks Slim and his wife are snooping around together behind his back. Curley has a good reason to get upset, because his wife flirts with everyone and he knows it. By the way that is a really pretty blue eye.

When Curley goes to the bunk house looking for his wife he realizes Slim is gone too and assumes that they are together. I dont think he had good reason to over react like that because Slim wasnt even with his wife.

Curley assumes that Smils is with his wife when he enters the buvkhouse looksing for her & notices Slim is not in there. No i do not think he had a good reason to make that asumsation because Slim has not done anything to him to make him think that & Slim even said that he was not with her along with everyone else.

Curley thinks that his wife is messing around with Slim. No i don’t think that he has a good reason to assume this because just because Slim isn’t around when his wife isn’t around doesn’t mean that Slim is with her.

Curley thinks that Slim is with his wife. He has partially good reason because Curley’s wife gives everyone the eye but he also dosen’t have good reason for it because slim really dosent do anything wrong.

he assumes his ife is cheating on him and he probly asumes that because she gives the eye to every guy she see’s and it psaid by george that she is tart

Comment by kkbruce

Curley assumes that his wife was cheating on him with Slim. I do not think he has the right to assume that because just because Slim is not at the bunkhouse doesn’t mean he should go and think that Slim is with his wife.

Curly assumes that Slim has been around with his wife. I think its a good aassumtion because his wife always flirts with him. I don’t think he should be so angry about it because hes not for sure.

Curley assumes that Slim is with Curley’s wife. I dont think its right because Slim hasnt done anything to be treated as if he was with his wife just because he sits around.

Comment by trayyd

i dont think it is right for curly to blame slim but i can see where he is coming from when he is worried. if i was curly i would be worried because she always flirts with him.

Comment by ms07

I think that Curley should not assume so easily and he should not jump to conclussions, but with a wife like that I can see how he can be VERY cautious as he should be.

Comment by curlygrace13

Curley assumes that Slim and his wife are together, possibly having an affair. He has a good reason to assume this because Curley’s wife is a “tart” and likes to go to the bunkhouse and flirt with the guys.

I think that curly is threathend by slim’s manliness.

Comment by ice165

Curly thinks his wife has been cheating on him with Slim. I think he has a right to think this because she is always around the bunkhouse and gives everyone the eye.

Comment by jktubman

Curley thinks that his wife is cheating on him with Slim. I think he assmes this because shes always around the guys and gives everyone “the eye”. Another reason he thinks this is that everyone says that shes a “tart”.

Comment by jessnick1992

Curley thinks that something is going on between Slim and his wife. I think he thinks this because maybe he saw her giving him “the eye” so now he’s suspisious.

Comment by skatergirl55

Curley assumes that His wife being the tart she is might be with Slim in the barn. So he accuses Slim and slim gets angry. He does have the right to think that because she is a flirt and isn’t loyal to Curley.

Comment by rachypachy

Curley thinks that slim and his wife are fooling around. I dont think it is very good of him to assume because you should never assume anything when you dont know half of the story.

Comment by trayyd

Curley comes in the bunkhouse looking for his wife. Curley sees everyone at the bunkhouse besides Slim so he assumes that Slim and his wife are together. Curley has no reason to assume that Slim is with his wife because #1 Slim isn’t with his wife and #2 Curley should look after his wife better and pay more attention to her.

Comment by jessicaxo

Curley thinks that Slim is fooling around with Curleys wife and acusses him. Slim gets up set because you should never acuse someone.

Comment by rwpollock

curly thinks that slim and his (curleys) and “sneeking” around with each other behind his back.curley tries to pick a fight with him.

Comment by sortisio92

When Curley’s comes in the bunkhouse he assumes slim is with his wife. First off, he is a stupid guy who wants to feel better than anyone else and won’t give consideration to why his wife gives everyone the eye or is always running off, what can he expect? Besides Slim is a man who is looked up to and is respected. Curley knows that and in a way he has some respect for Slim as well. Since Slim is man who has followers he can easily have Curleys wife. Not that he would. Curley does not have the right to think so, he is just threatened.
