Curley saw is wife dead and was furious. He went to kill Lennie. When he saw Lennie dead he was very happy.
Comment by doplato April 28, 2007 @ 8:34 pmI thought Curly when he saw his dead wife was mad at Lennie most of all, but not overly saddened by the fact his wife was killed. When Curly saw Lennie’s death he was satisfied because he always hated Lennie because he never liked tall guys.
Comment by nb14 April 29, 2007 @ 10:56 amIn the book Curly didnt seem that upset and he didnt even go to his wife in the barn, slim did. but in the movie he did have more of a reaction. but in both the movie and book he was determined to kill lennie.

Comment by adesi April 30, 2007 @ 6:40 pmCurley didn’t look very sad to the reaction of his wife’s death but as soon as he found out that Lennie did it he acted like he cared and wanted to kill him. When Curley found out that Lennie was dead he was really happy and forgot all about his wife’s death.

Comment by trayyd May 1, 2007 @ 1:28 pmCurley was furious at Lennie at his own wife’s death, although he didn’t seem as upset as he should have been. But when he found out Lennie was dead he was extremely happy, knowing that the man who killed his wife was dead, accident or not.
