With whom does Lennie converse when he is waiting for George in the brush? What do these characters represent? Why do they sound like Lennie’s voice?

Comment by jjspencer April 29, 2007 @ 6:32 pmLennie converses with his Aunt Clara and a rabbit. These represent Lennie’s thoughts, and possibly the good and bad of what he’s thinking. I agree with jjspencer, I think they’re Lennie’s conscience, so they’re in his voice.

Comment by cghirohito April 30, 2007 @ 3:20 pmLennie converses with his Aunt Clara and a giant bunny while waiting for eorge in the brush. The bunny represents his obsession with soft things and I’m not sure what his Aunt Clara represents. I’m not sure why these characters sound like Lennie.
