Lennie listens to George. What does he do in chapter 6 that demonstrates how well he remembers what George tells him?

First Lennie returns to the brush to wait for George because he got in trubble. Then he askes George if he’s going to yell at him and he reapeats everthing George usally says to him when he does get him mad.
Comment by doplato April 28, 2007 @ 8:20 pmAfter Lennie had killed Curley’s wife, he ran to the brush where George had told him to go if he had ever got into any trouble. This shows that Lennie really does listen to what George tells him and understands it.

Comment by kkbruce May 1, 2007 @ 10:03 amGeorge told Lennie to go right back to the brush in case he got into any trouble. Once Lennie realized that he killed Curley’s wife he went right back to the spot in the brush. George made sure Lennie would remember and he did.

George also told Lennie if he ever got into serious trouble to hide in the brush and wait for George. Lennie always listens to George because George is like a role model to Lennie.
