What is the last thing Crooks says to Candy? Why do you think he leaves the conversation this way?

Crooks said that he didnt want to go to the farm with them anymore. He probably felt unwanted because Geroge got mad when he found out tht Candy told Crooks.

Crooks says that he changed his mind about helpign out on the farm. I think he leaves it at that because when George came in he yelled at Lennie for saying anything about it to anyone. I think Crooks knows that he wasn’t suppoesed to find out and that he probably wasn’t wanted in the first place.

The last thing Crooks say to Candy is that he changed his mind about helping them out when they get the land. I think he leaves the conversation that way because of what George said when he walked in & found out Candy told him. Geogre said something along the lines of “you told him?!? i though I told you not to tell anyone”

Crooks tells Candy that he doesn’t want to work on the ‘dream land’ that they’re going to have. I think he leaves the conversation that way so that Candy doesn’t tell George that Crooks wants to be involved. I think because he heard George tell Lennie that he wasn’t supposed to tell anyone about the land and Crooks doesn’t want to get Lennie in trouble with George.

The last thing Crooks says is that he doesn’t want to live with him on the dream land. I think this has to do with the fact that he doesn’t really like gorge, and thahe might not have known when he first wanted to join them that George was in on it

The last thing Crook’s says to candy is that he changed his mind about wanting to live in the house George buys too. I think he changed his mind because he probably thinks George dosent like him because when George found out that lennie and candy told crooks about the house he flipped out.

Crooks says that he was only kidding about coming to live with them on the farm. I dont really think that he was kidding but he might have changed his mind or something like that.

Crooks says that he was only kidding about coming to live with them on the farm. I dont think that he was really kidding but maybe Curley’s wife coming in to his room changed his mind.

The last thing Crooks says to Candy is that he changed his mind about working on the farm and says he doesn’t want to. I think he changed his mind because once he realized that George was going to be on the farm it made him change his mind. I think Crooks doesn’t like George or Crooks thinks the George doesn’t like him.

The last thing crooks says to Candy is that he changed his mind about workin on he farm and says he doesn’t want to do it anymore. I think He said this because he may think George doesnt like him after yelling at Lennie for being in his room. I would feel that way to maybe.

The last think Crooks said to Candy was that he didn’t want to work on the farm that he might buy. I think he left the conversation this way to maybe hint that he doesn’t like George.

Crooks told Candy about what he said about him helping Lennie, George and Candy on their land, he took it back. He did this because of the way George acted when he found out that they had told Crook.

Crooks told Candy to forget about Crooks helping them around the dream house. He did this because he saw how George reacted when he found out that Crooks knew about the plan let alone wanted in.

The last thing Crooks says to Candy is that he was just kidding about working on their land because he thinks George doesn’t like just because he is black.

Crooks said nevermind about being an extra hand on their farm. I think that George intimidated Crooks and made him seem inferior again. See, Lennie and Candy are lonley and a outcasts just like Crooks and they are all on the same level so I htink that George almost disturbed their “special group”.

The last thing Crooks had said was he changed his mind about working for them at there place. I think he ended the conversation that way because George got mad at Candy telling Crooks, because no one was supose to find out

The last thing that Crooks says is that he doesn’t want to live on the dream land anymore. I think he says this because he feels unwanted. Crooks feels unwanted because George got upset that Candy told Crooks about it, and nobody was even supposed to find out.

The last thing Crooks said to Lennie was that he didn’t want to work on the “dream land” anymore. I think he ended it this way because he saw that George was mad at Lennie and Candy for telling Crooks about there dream.

Crooks says that he changed his mind about wanting to go with them. This happened because Crooks is black and is an outsider.
